Tarlaceno, Ex-Philippine President Cory Aquino Dies at 76
At the age of 76, Ex-President Cory Aquino died at 3:18 a.m. Saturday of cardio-respiratory arrest. Her battle against colon cancer has been ended up.
On Wednesday 9:00 am, her body will be buried at the Manila Memorial, beside her husband Ninoy Aquino Jr.

She was born on January 25, 1933 in Tarlac, daughter of Jose Cojuanco and Demetria Sumulong (sugar-growers in central Luzon and owner of the Hacienda Luisita in Tarlac). She married Benigno "Ninoy" S. Aquino Jr.(journalist, opposition leader of Marcos) in 1954. They have 5 kids and Kris Aquino is one them.
After the death of Ninoy Aquino, she followed the footsteps of her husband. She also became an opposition leader against Marcos and run against Marcos during the snap Presidential Election on 1986, even though she didn't have a broad knowledge in politics. After a long political hardships against the Marcos force, she still made it and became the next president after Marcos. Cory Aquino restored democracy to the Philippines.
